Categories are set by age and ability, and everyone is welcome. Family in town for Thanksgiving? Bring them to compete with you or cheer from the mats.
Categories
Prizes go to the top 3 male and top 3 female scores in each category, except Youth 6–8 and Advanced, which are co-ed.
Modified Redpoint
- 30 comp boulders, numbered 1–30. Your top 5 scores count.
- Hand your scorecard to a Gecko Coach and you'll be called when it's your turn.
- Up to 5 attempts per climb.
- Establish on the Zone Hold for half points. Establish on the Finish Hold for full points.
- Points drop with each attempt, so a first-try flash scores the most.
- Hit a Zone or Finish Hold on two climbs above your category and you get bumped up.
Max values shown for a first attempt. Each extra attempt earns a little less.

It's a fun job, we promise. We'll email you a simple summary of the judging rules and how to mark a scorecard.
- For parents or spouses of competitors. Sign up for a shift first, then call or visit the front desk to register your competitor.
- One discounted entry per volunteering family member.
- Only 20 spots, first come first served.
- If you can't volunteer the day of, full entry price applies.
