Turkey Trot League
We are excited to tell you about the upcoming Turkey Trot League at Gecko!
From September 29 through November 21
Compete with a team of five on ropes and boulders for prizes and podiums!
There’s going to be something exciting and challenging for everyone!

The Turkey Trot League BEGINS on Monday, September 29 and culminates on Friday, November 21 with the Turkey Boulder Bowl from 4-8pm! SAVE THE DATE!

Rules
Join a Group of 5
Gather a group of 5, or signup as an individual or few friends and we’ll connect you with another small group to make a crew of 5! Friends, families, youth ages 6+ are all welcome to join. We will have climbs for all categories to earn points! Providing a fun a team name is required!
Climb Once a Week
From Sept 29 through November 21, we will have 5 new Turkey Trot climbs going up every week, available Mondays after 3pm for Turkey Trot participants. You have until the following Monday at 3pm to earn points for those climbs BEFORE new climbs are identified as the Turkey Trot climbs.
Scorecards
Scorecards are kept at the Front Desk for you to grab before your climbs and return before you leave. We will have an honor system with our scorecards, meaning it is your responsibility to update your scores and have verified witness signatures by staff or teammates.
You will receive 500 points for each flash attempt. Flashed means you successfully completed the boulder or rope route on your first try.
You will receive 250 points for each completed route. We will allow for unlimited attempts, and not dock points for each failed attempt. The Turkey Boulder Bowl will receive less potential points after each attempt, so be sure to practice flashing your routes or completing them with the least amount of attempts!
You will receive 0 points for each route you do not complete.
You must return your team’s scorecard to the front desk for scores to be tallied each week! We will have a link for all participants to see live updates on team scorecards and who’s gobbling up the most points!
Participate/Attend the Turkey Boulder Bowl
All this trotting has got you ready for the Turkey Boulder Bowl Competition, Friday, Nov 21 from 4-8pm. (Competition climbing from 4-7pm)
The Hook Coffee Truck will be serving until 8pm.
The Food Truck will be serving until 8pm.
At 8:00pm, we will announce winners based on Turkey Trot scorecards and Turkey Boulder Bowl scorecards and pass out prizes!
We will have winners based on the Turkey Boulder Bowl as a standalone boulder competition AND winners based on those who participated in the Turkey Trot League that does NOT include points earned at the Turkey Boulder Bowl.
